Operator India International Multiversity Programme Standards 4, 7 and 8 Jurisdiction India

1. Information we collect

When a person uses the Vijaypath website, mobile app or related programme services, India International Multiversity may collect the student's name, standard/class, school or course details, student/account ID, parent/guardian name and mobile number, login records, attendance, assessment/progress information, support messages and payment references. We should not collect information unnecessary for the programme.

2. Why we use it

  • To register the student and administer the scholarship learning programme.
  • To verify account access, provide support and protect account security — including enforcing the per-account device/session limit described in Terms §4.3.
  • To send essential academic/service messages — class schedules, cancellations, assessment notices and service updates.
  • To manage enrolment, payment/refund records and legal obligations.
  • To troubleshoot and maintain the service using appropriate safeguards.

3. Parent mobile number and communications

Important. The parent/guardian mobile number is used for account-related purposes and essential programme communications. It is not, by itself, permission for unrelated promotional messages. If Multiversity sends promotional communications, it should provide a separate optional choice and comply with applicable telecom and other requirements.

4. Sharing

Information may be accessed by authorised personnel of India International Multiversity and relevant contracted providers (for example app hosting, OTP/SMS, classroom or payment providers) only to the extent needed to provide/support Vijaypath or where permitted/required by law. Before publication, India International Multiversity should verify which vendors actually receive data, where it is processed and the safeguards in place. This applies to information collected through the website, app, school-coordinator registration and partner-facilitated registration.

5. Children's information

Because Vijaypath serves minors, registration must be completed or authorised by a parent/lawful guardian and use appropriate consent and verification procedures required by applicable law. Student information must be handled carefully, with access limited to authorised persons and no unrelated use. Analytics and advertising integrations must be reviewed for compliance with rules protecting children.

6. Security, retention and requests

We will use reasonable safeguards to protect information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or disclosure. Information will be kept only as long as needed for the stated purposes or as required by law, accounting requirements or dispute resolution. A parent/lawful guardian may contact contact@vijaypath.org to ask about the student's information, request correction, raise a concern or request deletion/withdrawal where available under applicable law. We may verify identity and authority before acting; some records may need to be retained where legally required.
