When a refund may be considered, how to request it, and processing time.

Operator India International Multiversity Programme Standards 4, 7 and 8 Jurisdiction India

1. General rule

Course/programme fees are non-refundable once payment is made, except for:

  • mistaken duplicate or excess payments described below;
  • a course withdrawal by Vijaypath under Terms §4.5, in which case a replacement course of comparable value or a pro-rata refund of unused fees will be offered;
  • where a refund is otherwise required by applicable law.

This policy does not remove mandatory legal rights.

2. Eligible mistaken payments

A refund may be considered only where the same transaction/enrolment was paid more than once, or an amount was paid in excess of the fee actually due because of a payment mistake. Change of mind, non-attendance, partial attendance, failure to complete the course or dissatisfaction with examination results does not qualify under this policy, subject to applicable law.

3. How to request a refund

The parent/guardian must email contact@vijaypath.org with subject "Vijaypath Refund Request" and provide:

  • Student name and student/account ID, if available
  • Parent/guardian name and registered mobile number
  • Course/programme name and payment date
  • Transaction/reference ID and amount paid
  • Payment screenshot showing date, amount and transaction ID
  • Short explanation (duplicate, excess, or Vijaypath course withdrawal)
Do not send a card PIN, CVV, password, OTP or full banking credentials. We may request limited additional information reasonably needed to verify the transaction.

4. Review and processing time

We will review a complete refund request and aim to communicate the outcome and, where approved, initiate the refund within 15 working days after receiving all required information and proof. The time for funds to appear may depend on the bank, payment provider or payment method. If additional information is required, the review period may be extended until it is received; the parent/guardian will be informed. During the review, course access is governed by Terms §4.6.

5. Refund method and fraud prevention

Approved refunds will normally be made through the original payment method or another verified method permitted by the payment provider. Refunds are subject to verification of the original transaction and will not be paid to unrelated third parties. False or altered claims may be rejected. Relevant records may be retained for accounting, fraud prevention and legal compliance.
